Immediately made me think of this old article in Stanceworks about this kid who started his own business making kits for the 3 series. Basically found a guy with a shop that let him use it for a couple weeks to make his own fiberglass molds to get an idea out of it. The result combined with the totally beat-on 3 that looks like it has been beaten to the edge of death and told to walk it off. I keep thinking about this car and this photo shoot. It really made an impression, without me knowing it.
